Pumpkin Illuminations 2019- FULLY BOOKED!

Join us 5pm-7pm on Wednesday 30th October & Thursday 31st October 2019 for a night of pumpkins, twinkling fairy lights, autumnal hot drinks, cakes and fluffy warm blankets!

Ticketing Announcement:

Due to the popularity of our event and capacity of the Ramblers, we have made the decision to operate a free ticketing system on the evening. We appreciate that this may be an inconvenience, however, this allows us to make sure all of our guests to our amazing autumnal evening have the best experience! We’d appreciate it if guests only book tickets if they are certain they are definitely joining us on the 30th or 31st October.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through the online system.

If you’re planning on bringing your own pumpkin creations down to enter in our competition over the evenings, please DO NOT apply for your ticket online- we’ll give you 2 tickets per pumpkin entered, on or before the 29th October- so everyone who enters a pumpkin in our competition will be guaranteed entry, we’d, therefore, appreciate the online tickets being left for those guests not entering a pumpkin.

Our gardens will be illuminated by pumpkin light and twinkling fairy lights. Admire our team’s & guest’s pumpkin carving handiwork, whilst we serve a selection of our amazing homemade cakes, special Halloween treats and a selection of hot drinks including our Pumpkin Spice Latte, Autumn Spice Hot Chocolate & Gingerbread Latte! Blankets will be provided, so if you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise!

Please note we will be closed 4pm-5pm on Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st October 2019 to prepare for the pumpkin illuminations. Re-opening 5pm-7pm for the event

We’ll also be giving all of our guests the chance to get their own pumpkins displayed in the Ramblers Retreat woodland gardens*, with prizes for the best carved and 2 free tickets per pumpkin entered!**

(*Please note, we are unable to return pumpkins, each pumpkin entered gains a maximum of 2 tickets & we are limited to 50 competition tickets, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis)

Carve as many pumpkins as you like and drop them off with us no later than Tuesday 29th October with your contact details! We’ll judge the best carved pumpkins over the first evening and chose 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, you can receive your prize on the night if you’re joining us for one of the evenings!

🎃 MENU: Betweeen 5pm-7pm, we’ll only be serving our amazing hot drinks & homemade cakes, with lots of autumn specials!
🎃 OPENING HOURS: On Wednesday 30th October & Thursday 31st October 2019, we will be open as usual 10am-4pm. We’ll then stop serving between 4pm-5pm to allow us to get ready for the Illuminations, opening 5pm-7pm for our wonderfully autumnal Pumpkin Illuminations!
🎃 PARKING: Dimmingsdale car parks will be open longer for guests to our Pumpkin Illuminations only, so there’s no need to worry about being in the valley after our usual opening hours. As usual, we’d ask everyone who joins us to park considerately in order to maximise the parking available. We are based in a nature reserve, therefore to keep our events at a sustainable level, there is limited parking available.

Ticket Information & T’s&C’s:

🎃 Tickets are required to gain entry to the Ramblers Retreat between 5pm-7pm on the 30th & 31st October 2019.

🎃Tickets are free and available via the registration button on our ticketing website which will be released 9am on Monday 21st October.

🎃 Any guest who enters a pumpkin in our competition will be given 2 tickets, we, therefore request that any guests & their friends and families entering our competition do not apply for tickets online.

🎃 A ticket does not include food or drink, nor does it guarantee seating or parking.

🎃 Each attendee must have their own ticket!

🎃 We appreciate that some guests will be disappointed if/ when tickets become unavailable, however, this does allow us to ensure the best experience for all of our guests on both evenings. We’d remind anyone in this position that anyone who enters a pumpkin in our competition before 4pm 29th October 2019, will be given 2 tickets even if online tickets become unavailable.*

🎃 Unfortunately, we can not return any pumpkins entered in our competition.

🎃 * We are limited to 50 free tickets for those entering pumpkins into our competition, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
