We have chosen to offer a call & collect service to control visitor numbers to the Churnet Valley and support the fight against COVID-19, yet still provide a service to the community.
Thank you for your understanding.
Whether you’re with us for light bites like our amazing Staffordshire Oatcakes & toasted sandwiches, barista made coffee and a slice of one of our famous homemade cakes or just a organic ice cream before a walk around Dimmingsdale with the family, we’re sure you’ll enjoy your visit. We pride ourselves on serving lovingly made food & drinks and, wherever possible, we buy our ingredients from local suppliers within Staffordshire & Derbyshire. This allows us to support our local community, reduce our environmental impact and ensure the quality of our ingredients are consistently high.
We’re so very pleased to be able to welcome our guests and local communities back with open (socially distanced) arms. We’d like to thank all of our guests and friends for being so supportive during these difficult times. When we do reopen, the Ramblers Retreat will be different. We will need time to adjust to smaller teams and additional health and safety measures, but we can guarantee the warm Ramblers welcome and service that has been at our core since opening our doors in 1981.
We kindly ask that you continue to be supportive of and patient with our amazing team members as we safely return and adjust to the new normal. We’ll always keep all of our guests updated through social media, our website and our email newsletter.
