Join us for our autumnal evenings on Saturday 28th, Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st October 2023 for glowing spooky pumpkins, twinkling fairy lights, autumnal hot drinks, artisan hot dogs, cakes, and fluffy warm blankets!

We encourage you all to come in your best spooky outfit, with a winner for the best dressed each night!
Our gardens will be illuminated by pumpkin light and twinkling fairy lights. Admire our team’s & guests’ pumpkin carving handiwork, whilst we serve a menu of our amazing homemade cakes, special Halloween treats, artisan hot dogs and a selection of hot drinks including our Pumpkin Spice Latte, Ultimate White Hot Chocolate & Gingerbread Latte! Blankets will be provided, so if you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise!
Bookings & pre-payment are essential for this event!
How to book…
Bookings are open from 10am Wednesday 27th September. Please call us on 01538 702730 to make your booking.
We will be offering tables inside our conservatory* and woodland garden.
When booking your table for our pumpkin event, we will ask for your tickets to be paid in full to secure your booking. To purchase each entry ticket, we will take a card payment via our card machines (please have your card details to hand.)
You will have a choice of either a hot dog and hot drink included in your entry, or upgrade to include a dessert. For prices please see poster above.
Once you’ve had a chance to check out the ghoulish menu down below, we will ask that you let us know your hot dog order, as well as desserts if you have chosen to include these, before the event. These will be required at least 2 weeks before your chosen date.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when making your booking.

FAQ’s & Key Details:
Don’t forget the events run over three days- you can join us on Saturday 28th, Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st October 2023! Booking & pre-orders are absolutely essential to gain entry & tables must be paid for in advance.
If you need to cancel your booking due to illness, we’ll refund your total in vouchers for you to use at the Ramblers Retreat another time. We will need to be aware of the cancellation at least 48 hours in advance.

BEST DRESSED: We will be encouraging everyone to come in their best Halloween inspire outfits, with a prize for the best dressed each night of the event.
MENU: We’ll only be serving our amazing artisan hot dogs, hot drinks & homemade cakes, with lots of autumn specials!
OPENING HOURS: On Saturday 28th, we will be open as usual 9:30am-4pm. We’ll then stop serving between 4pm-6pm to allow us to get ready for the Illuminations, opening 6pm for our wonderfully autumnal Pumpkin Illuminations! On Monday & Tuesday we will be opening up for the pumpkin illuminations at 5pm. We are closed during the daytime on Monday 30th October and open 11am-3pm on Tuesday 31st October.
PARKING: Dimmingsdale car parks will be open longer for guests to our Pumpkin Illuminations only, so there’s no need to worry about being in the valley after our usual opening hours. As usual, we’d ask everyone who joins us to park considerately in order to maximise the parking available. We are based in a forest, therefore to keep our events at a sustainable level, there is limited parking available.

Bookings, pre-payment & pre-orders are required to gain entry to the Ramblers Retreat for our Pumpkin Illumination event. To pay for your tickets Bookings for this event fill up very quickly, we will unfortunately, not be able to hold your booking without payment. Please keep this in mind when booking your table.
