We have the perfect way to say a massive ‘I love you’ to the Mums, friends, Grannies and special loved ones this year! Treat them to a proper, traditional roast dinner in a beautiful setting.
We cook every part of your roast from scratch, that’s the roasties, the topside of beef and everything in between! So you can rest assured you’ll have a wonderful Mother’s Day.

- How do I book? To book your Mother’s Day roast, click the booking link below or give us a call on 01538 70273. Alternatively, pop us a email over to info@ramblersretreat.co.uk! When making your booking, you will be asked for card details to secure your table.* Book now!
- Do I need to book? Yes, we do need your booking in our diary at least 24 hours prior to your desired visiting date. We are expecting this to be a very popular date so please book early to avoid disappointment!
- Do I need a pre-order? Yes, please take a look at the menu above and let us know which choices you would like ideally at least 2 weeks before your visit. We will just need your starters (optional) and main courses in advance, desserts are to be chosen on the day.
- Do you have any gluten free options? Yes! We can absolutely prepare your roast with no gluten ingredients. On the above menu, you will see a wheat free symbol to depict which menu items that can be made gluten free. Please note, we do have a small kitchen, and whilst we will always take great care to avoid any cross contamination, we cannot guarantee absolutely no traces of gluten. - Do you have any vegan options? Yes! We can absolutely prepare a vegan roast. Please let us know when booking of any dietary restrictions to ensure we can prepare your meal accordingly. Please note, we do have a small kitchen, and whilst we will always take great care to avoid any cross contamination, we cannot guarantee absolutely no traces of milk, eggs or animal products. - Can I bring my dog? Yes! We have specially built summer houses in our woodland gardens that are dog friendly. Please just let us know when booking that you would like to bring your dog and we will book your table accordingly. (Subject to availability.) - When can I book the Mothers Day Roast? Our Mother’s Day Roast will be available Sunday 15th March. You will be able to book from 12pm on these dates. The latest booking will be 3:30pm. Subject to availability.
* Your card will not be charged when making your booking. Your card details are stored securely by Stripe until your booking date, then erased immediately upon your visit. If your were unfortunately unable to make us aware you were unable to attend within 48 hours of the visit date, you will be charged £10 per person. We will always be understanding to your individual circumstances, if there was an unforeseen emergency please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to come to an arrangement.
