FAQs:
- How do I book? To book your afternoon tea, click the booking link below or give us a call on 01538 70273. Alternatively, pop us a email over to info@ramblersretreat.co.uk! When making your booking, you will be asked for card details to secure your table.* We will also need to be made aware of any dietary requirements in advance so we can prepare your afternoon tea accordingly.
- Can I enjoy my afternoon tea at home? Yes! Our afternoon teas are also available to take away too. Just give us a call on 01538 702730 or send us an email to info@ramblersretreat.co.uk. We will need 24 hours notice to fulfil your order. The takeaway afternoon tea is available for collection within our opening times only.
- Do I need to book? Yes, we do need your booking in our diary at least 24 hours prior to your desired visiting date. We would recommend booking as early as you can as this is a very popular weekend!
- Do you have any gluten free options? Yes! We can absolutely prepare an afternoon tea with no ingredients containing gluten. Please let us know when booking of any dietary restrictions to ensure we can prepare your afternoon accordingly. Please note, we do have a small kitchen, and whilst we will always take great care to avoid any cross contamination, we cannot guarantee absolutely no traces of gluten. - Do you have any vegan options? Yes! We can absolutely prepare a vegan afternoon tea. Please let us know when booking of any dietary restrictions to ensure we can prepare your afternoon accordingly. Please note, we do have a small kitchen, and whilst we will always take great care to avoid any cross contamination, we cannot guarantee absolutely no traces of milk, eggs or animal products. - Do you have any vegetarian options? Yes! We can absolutely prepare a vegetarian afternoon tea. - Can I bring my dog? Yes! We have specially built summer houses in our woodland gardens that are dog friendly. Please just let us know when booking that you would like to bring your dog and we will book your table accordingly. For more information about our dog friendly seating areas click the link below.
- When can I book my afternoon tea? Our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea will be available on Saturday 14th March. You will be able to book from 12pm on these dates. The latest booking will be 3:15pm Saturday & Sunday. Subject to availability.
* Your card will not be charged when making your booking. Your card details are stored securely by Stripe until your booking date, then erased immediately upon your visit. If your were unfortunately unable to make us aware you were unable to attend within 48 hours of the visit date, you will be charged £10 per person. We will always be understanding to your individual circumstances, if there was an unforeseen emergency please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to come to an arrangement.
